Thawing
To defrost, thaw in refrigerator for 24 hours; for rapid thaw place in a clean trash can liner and submerge in cool water for 6–9 hours. For best results, thaw 24–48 hours in a refrigerator.
Cooking & Slicing
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Remove from bag.
- Add ¾–1 cup water to pan, place roll skin side down and cover with foil. Bake 1 hour 45 minutes, then remove foil and bake uncovered 15 minutes. Internal temperature should reach 165°F.
- Allow to cool 20 minutes to seal in juices. Remove netting and slice. Optional: brown prior to cooking or use a browning bag.
