Product description
Thawing & Storage
Thaw thoroughly before cooking. For best results, remove from box and thaw in refrigerator for 48-72 hours. A cold water bath (place turducken and packaging inside a large bag) for 8-10 hours works to quick defrost.
Cooking & Slicing
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Place breast side up on a rack in a greased roasting pan; cover wings and legs with foil.
- Loosely tent entire bird with foil; bake covered 2 hours, then uncovered 1½ hours or to internal temperature of 165°F.
- Baste with butter during last hour if desired. Remove and rest 45 minutes before serving; allow extra 20–30 minutes resting before slicing. Slice ½”–¾” thick from wing to wing.
