Cooking Instructions
FOR ALL METHODS BELOW, OBTAIN AT LEAST 160 DEGREES BEFORE EATING!
- Bake: Preheat oven to 300°F, place links on an oiled cookie sheet for 20 minutes, turning every 5 minutes for crispy skin.
- Steam cooking: Place links in a rice cooker with a little water to cover the bottom. Heat for 3 to 5 minutes on Cook cycle, then change to Warm. Ready in 10 to 15 minutes.
- Microwave: Wrap one link in damp paper towel. Heat for one minute on high or to desired heat level.
- Steam (pot): Fill pot with about half inch of water. Heat until steam forms, lower temperature, place boudin in pot, cover and heat for 2 minutes. Do not submerge.
- BBQ Pit or skillet: Roll with foil or place directly on grill/pan until casing is crisp.
