Preparation
Preheat vegetable cooking oil to 350°F. Place boudin balls into the fry basket with a little space between each to avoid sticking. Working in batches, lower into the oil and cook, turning once, until crispy on the outside and hot on the inside, about 3 to 4 minutes.
Tips
- If mixture is difficult to form into balls, a binder such as plain flour can be added a little at a time until the balls hold shape.
- Roll balls in lightly seasoned flour before frying for best results.
