Chicken & Sausage Gumbo
- Pre-cook 2–3 lbs. of chicken and/or sausage.
- In a 4‑quart pot add 2 to 2½ quarts of cold chicken stock or water to LOUISIANA Gumbo Mix. When mix is dissolved, cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and serve over cooked rice.
Seafood Gumbo
- In a 4‑quart pot combine 2 quarts of water and LOUISIANA Gumbo Mix. Mix well and bring to a boil.
- Add 2 lbs. of seafood, boil 3–4 minutes, remove from heat, then let stand covered at least 30 minutes. (If oysters are desired, add at this time.) Serve over cooked rice.
