Preparation

To slice: cut off and discard the stem end, squeeze out the seeds, then cut into slices about 1/2 inch thick. Drain in a colander if extra juicy. Adjust the amount used to taste.

Q: How hot are these

A: Pepperoncini are very mild peppers, generally about 100-500 Scoville Heat Units. They have a tangy flavor with only a slight warmth and are much milder than jalapeno peppers.
