Jalapeno Cornbread & Cooking
Jalapeno Cornbread: pickled jalapenos, eggs, cheese, onions, corn oil, milk, cornmeal and creamed corn create a zesty cornbread. Keep product frozen until ready to use. Thaw in refrigerator approximately 24 hours prior to cooking (or use quick-thaw in cold water 6–8 hours). Preheat oven to 350°F. Remove plastic bag (netting stays in place), place thawed roll in a sprayed roasting pan, cover with foil and bake ~2 hours. Remove foil and bake an additional 15–20 minutes until golden brown. Internal temperature must reach 165°F. Let stand 10–15 minutes, remove netting, carve and serve.
