Chicken & Sausage Gumbo Directions

Pre-cook 2–3 lbs. of chicken and/or sausage. In a 4-quart pot add 2 to 2½ quarts of cold chicken stock or water to the gumbo mix. When the mix is dissolved, cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and serve over cooked rice.

Seafood Gumbo Directions

In a 4-quart pot combine 2 quarts of water and the gumbo mix. Mix well and bring to a boil. Add 2 lbs. of seafood, return to a rolling boil for 3–4 minutes, then remove from heat. (If oysters are desired, add at this time.) Let stand covered at least 30 minutes. Serve over cooked rice.

All-in-one gumbo base—simply add your choice of protein and rice.
