Boil and soak guide
The 16 oz size is formulated to boil: 12 lbs crawfish, 12 lbs shrimp, or 1 dozen large crabs, and to season about 1 3/4 gallons of water. Bring water to a rolling boil, add seasoning and seafood, cover and return to a boil while stirring occasionally.
Times
- Boil times — Crawfish: 5–7 minutes; Shrimp: 2–5 minutes; Crabs: 10–12 minutes.
- Soak times — Crawfish: 15–30 minutes; Shrimp: 5–10 minutes; Crabs: 15–30 minutes. Note: longer soak increases flavor intensity.
Ingredients include salt, red pepper, dextrose, spices, dehydrated onion and garlic, paprika, natural flavors, and artificial color.
