Louisiana Fish Fry Dirty Rice Mix 8 oz (5 Pack)

Ingredients

Enriched long grain parboiled rice, enriched bleached wheat flour, corn starch, dried onion, salt, hydrolyzed vegetable protein, monosodium glutamate, spices, caramel color, dried garlic, natural flavor.

Dirty Rice Preparation

• Brown 1 lb. ground meat in a 4 qt. saucepan; cook to 165°F and drain.
• Add 2 ¼ cups water and LA Fish Fry Dirty Rice Entrée Mix.
• Bring to boil, reduce heat, cover and cook 20–25 minutes. Stir before serving.

Gumbo Instructions

For chicken & sausage gumbo: combine 6 cups cold water or chicken stock and LA Fish Fry Gumbo & Rice Entrée Mix in a 4 qt. pot. Stir while bringing to a boil. Add 2 lb. cooked chicken and/or sausage (to 165°F). Bring to a second boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer 25 minutes or until rice is tender. For seafood gumbo: add 2 lb. uncooked seafood, bring to second boil, simmer 25 minutes; ensure seafood is thoroughly cooked to 145°F; add oysters at end if desired.
