Cooking Directions
- Precook 1 lb. meat of choice to an internal temperature of 165 °F for chicken or 160 °F for sausage. If using seafood, precooking is not required.
- Add meat or seafood to 6 cups of water and bring to a boil.
- Add the Gumbo and Rice Entrée Mix, stir, return to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Remove from heat; add oysters if desired, let stand 5 minutes, then serve.
