Cooking options
- Bake: Preheat oven to 300°F. Place links on an oiled cookie sheet for 20 minutes, turning every 5 minutes for a crisp skin.
- Steam (rice cooker): Place links with a little water covering the bottom. Heat 3–5 minutes on Cook, then set to Warm; ready in 10–15 minutes. Let cool slightly before slicing.
- Microwave: Wrap one link in a damp paper towel. Heat 1 minute on High or to desired temperature.
- Stovetop steam: Put about ½ inch water in pot. Heat until steam forms, lower heat, place boudin in pot, cover and heat 2 minutes or until warm; do not submerge in water.
- BBQ/Grill: Roll in foil and heat on pit, or place directly on grill and cook until casing is crisp.
- Oven or skillet: Heat slowly until skin becomes crisp.
Warning: Obtain at least 160 degrees before eating.
