Brewing guidance

• Start with a clean coffee brewer; clean periodically to avoid oil film.
• Use fresh, cold water; bottled or filtered water is recommended.
• Measure two tablespoons of coffee for every six ounces (3/4 cup) of water.
• Proper brewing temperature: 195-200°F, ±5 degrees.
• Remove grounds from the brewer as soon as brewing completes to prevent bitterness.
• Coffee is best served immediately; retains flavor for up to 20 minutes.

Cold recipes

Chocolate Mint Cooler: Blend 2-1/4 cups cold Community Coffee with 4 tbsp crème de cacao, 4 tbsp white crème de menthe, 1 cup light cream and ice. Serves 4.
Frosty Café Au Lait: Blend 2-1/4 cups cold coffee, 2 cups milk, 2 cups crushed ice and sugar if desired. Serves 8.
