Usage & Recipes
This spicy brown mustard pairs well in dressings and sauces. Two recipe examples provided with the product:
- Marinated Boiled Shrimp New Orleans Style — combine boiled shrimp with minced celery and green onion, olive oil, lemon juice, Crystal® Hot Sauce, horseradish, Crystal® Worcestershire Sauce, 2 Tbsp. Crystal® Spicy Brown Mustard, salt, white pepper and garlic salt; fold shrimp into dressing, cover and marinate 4–6 hours. Serve on mixed greens.
- Louisiana Remoulade Sauce — mix 1 cup mayonnaise (or McIlhenny Farms® Spicy Mayonnaise), 1 Tbsp. vinegar, Crystal® Hot Sauce, 2 Tbsp. Crystal® Spicy Brown Mustard, chopped celery, parsley, onion and 1/4 cup salad oil; serve over boiled shrimp.
