Preparation basics
Keep refrigerated after opening. To make beignets: mix 2 cups of mix with 7 fl oz water, stir until blended, roll to 1/8" thickness, cut into 2-1/4" squares (about 2 dozen), fry in 1–2 inches of oil at 370°F until puffy and light golden, drain and sprinkle generously with powdered sugar. Beignets can be kept warm in a 200°F oven up to 30 minutes; dough may be refrigerated up to one week.
