Poche's Pork Boudin is offered as five 2 lb packages of boudin links. This traditional Cajun sausage requires heating to a minimum internal temperature before eating.
Cooking Instructions
- Microwave: Wrap one link in a damp paper towel. Heat for one minute on high or to desired heat level.
- Steam: Add about ½ inch water to pot. Heat until steam forms, lower temperature, place boudin in pot, cover and heat for 2 minutes or until warm. Do not submerge boudin in water.
- BBQ Pit: Roll link in foil and heat on pit, or place directly on grill and cook until outer casing is crisp.
- Oven or skillet: Heat slowly until skin becomes crisp.
Warning: Obtain at least 160 degrees before eating!
