After cooking, the meat is separated from the broth, coarsely ground, then mixed with cooked rice and broth for a balanced texture. Cooking Instructions
Obtain at least 160°F before eating.
- Microwave: Wrap one link in a damp paper towel and heat on high for one minute or to desired heat level.
- Steam: Put about ½ inch water in pot, heat until steam forms, lower heat, place boudin in pot, cover and heat for 2 minutes; do not submerge.
- BBQ Pit: Roll link in foil and heat on pit, or place directly on grill until outer casing is crisp.
- Oven or skillet: Heat slowly until skin becomes crisp.
