Baking instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Melt 1/2 stick butter or margarine (4 tablespoons) in a saucepan and pour into a 9" x 9" baking pan.
- Combine cobbler mix with 2/3 cup milk and mix until smooth; pour into the baking dish.
- Add a 16 oz. can of fruit, including syrup, over the batter.
- Bake at 375°F for 40 to 45 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with ice cream if desired.
Commonly called Louisiana cobbler mix or Louisiana fruit cobbler mix, it makes a traditional peach cobbler or other fruit-based cobblers.
