Simple baking directions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- In a saucepan melt 1/2 stick of butter or margarine (4 tablespoons) and pour into a 9" x 9" baking pan.
- Combine cobbler mix with 2/3 cup of milk and mix until smooth. Pour the batter into the baking dish.
- Add a 16 oz. can of fruit (peaches, blueberries or apples), including syrup, over the batter.
- Bake at 375°F for 40 to 45 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with ice cream if desired.
This mix is often referred to as Louisiana cobbler mix or Louisiana fruit cobbler mix and is designed to make a classic peach cobbler or other fruit cobblers.
