How to prepare
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Melt 1/2 stick of butter or margarine (4 tablespoons) and pour into a 9" x 9" baking pan.
- Stir cobbler mix with 2/3 cup milk until smooth; pour batter into the baking dish.
- Top with a 16 oz. can of fruit (including syrup).
- Bake at 375°F for 40–45 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with ice cream if desired.
Also referred to as Louisiana cobbler mix or Louisiana fruit cobbler mix, it is suitable for making traditional peach cobbler or other fruit variations.
