Oven instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Remove lid from chicken and replace with foil.
- If frozen, bake 1½ hours covered; then remove foil and bake 1 hour uncovered or until internal temperature reaches 165°F–170°F.
Grill instructions
- Thaw in refrigerator or microwave defrost setting.
- Prepare grill for indirect cooking with hot coals on both sides; allow about 1½ hours of grilling time.
- Place pan on center of grill without lid, insert meat thermometer into deepest part of breast, cover grill, and cook until internal temperature reaches 165°F–170°F.
- Note: If cooking more than one chicken, add ½ hour per chicken.
