Dirty Rice Filling

Dirty rice prepared with ground pork, onions, celery, bell pepper and a homemade roux combined with long grain white rice and a special seasoning blend; cooled to USDA guidelines before being added to the poultry.

Thawing & Cooking

• Refrigerator thaw: thaw in refrigerator approximately 24 hours prior to cooking.
• Quick thaw: leave wrapper on and place in cold water for 6–8 hours.
• Cooking: remove plastic bag (netting stays in place). Place thawed roll in a non-stick or oiled roasting pan. Preheat oven to 350°F. Cover with foil and bake approx. 2 hours, then remove foil and bake 15–20 minutes until golden brown. Baste with butter. Internal temperature must reach 165°F. Let stand 10–15 minutes, remove netting, carve and serve.
