Product description

Oven Cooking

  • Preheat oven to 325°F. Place breast side up on a rack in a roasting pan.
  • Cover and bake for 3 hours 30 minutes, then uncover and bake 30 minutes more, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.

Slicing & Resting

Allow an extra 20–30 minutes resting time after removing from the oven. Remove string or netting; if netted, pull netting away from the skin and cut and remove. Slice off wings and legs. Slice remainder from wing to wing into ½"–¾" thick slices, then slice once down the middle.

Grill Method

Place turducken in an aluminum pan or on foil and set on the grill over indirect heat. Cook about four hours. Brush olive oil over the skin and cover with foil. Monitor temperature and add charcoal or wood chips as needed.

Questions & answers

3 answered questions
Q: Is this pork sausage in the turducken a stuffing/dressing?

A: No it is not a stuffing or dressing. The bird is stuffed with seasoned ground pork sausage.

Q: Hi, is this gluten free, since it doesn't have the stuffing in it? Thanks!

A: The creole pork sausage is a stuffing, We cannot make claims that is it gluten free as we are just a distributor. The seafood jambalaya turducken is the only one that is for sure gluten free.

Q: Can you tell me what seasonings are used on the bird parts of the Turducken please?

A: Salt, Green onion, Paprika and "spices". The manufactures did not specify any other exact spices.
