Allergens & storage
Allergens: Milk, Soy, Pecans. Keep product frozen until ready to use.
Thawing
- Refrigerator thaw: remove from box, place in a pan & thaw approximately 3½ days prior to cooking.
- Quick thaw: leave wrapper on bird and place in cold water for 6–8 hours.
Cooking
- Remove plastic bag and place completely thawed bird, breast side up or string side down, in a greased roasting pan ensuring it does not touch the sides.
- Cover legs and wings with foil; loosely tent entire bird with foil (do not tuck).
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Bake approximately 3½–4 hours or until skin is golden brown, basting with butter occasionally.
- Discard foil and allow turducken to rest 45 minutes to 1 hour before transferring and carving.
