Ragin Cajun Fixin's Dirty Rice Mix 8 oz

Stovetop Preparation (serves 4–5)

• Sauté 1 lb ground meat, smoked sausage, seafood, chicken or beef in 2 tbsp vegetable oil in a 2½ quart pot (seafood and smoked sausage need not be pre-cooked). Chop and drain.
• Add the 8 oz Dirty Rice Mix, 1 tbsp butter or margarine, and 2½ cups water. Stir and bring to a boil.
• Cover and simmer on low heat for 25 minutes or until rice is tender. Remove from heat and let stand covered 5 minutes before serving.

Optional

Add a 10 oz can of cream of mushroom soup when adding the mix for extra flavor.
