What’s in the Box
- Individual packets: Red Pepper, Corn Masa Flour, Cumin/Oregano, Ground Chili Peppers, Onion/Garlic, Paprika (and salt).
Directions
- You'll need 2 lbs. ground or cubed beef, 1—8 oz. can tomato sauce, and 2 cups water (salt optional).
- Brown meat and drain. Add tomato sauce, water, and seasoning packets except Red Pepper and Masa Flour.
- For Hot: add entire Red Pepper packet. For Medium: add 1/2 packet. For Mild: omit Red Pepper.
- Cover and simmer 30 minutes or until meat is tender. To thicken, dissolve Masa Flour in 1/4 cup warm water and stir in; simmer 15–20 minutes.
Makes approximately four 8‑oz servings; season to taste and add optional beans, tomatoes, or toppings as desired.
