Simple boiling directions
- One bag is sufficient for 4 lb. shrimp, 4 lb. crawfish, or 1 dozen crabs.
- In a large pot add 3 quarts water, 4 Tbsp. salt, 1 bag Zatarain's Crab Boil and 1 lemon (quartered). Add cayenne to taste.
- Bring to a rolling boil, add seafood, and boil: crabs vigorously 5 minutes, crawfish 2 minutes, shrimp 1 minute. Allow seafood to remain in water 15–20 minutes after boiling.
- Tip: Adding 2 Tbsp. vinegar makes crabs easier to pick.
