Basic frying method
- Heat about 1 inch of vegetable oil in a skillet or use oil in a deep fryer to 350°F.
- Wash prepared seafood in cold water and drain excess moisture. Season with Zatarain's Creole Seasoning to taste.
- Pour Fish-Fri onto a plate or into a plastic bag; roll or shake moist seafood in mix until evenly coated. Fry a few pieces at a time until light golden brown; drain on absorbent paper.
