Stove Top Directions
- Mix 4 1/2 cups water, Rice Mix and 2 tbsp butter, margarine or olive oil in 3-quart saucepan. Bring to boil.
- Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 25 minutes or until rice is tender. Stir occasionally. Remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes; fluff with fork before serving.
Microwave Directions & Caution
- Mix 4 1/2 cups hot water, Rice Mix and 2 tbsp butter in 3-quart microwavable bowl. Microwave on HIGH 5 minutes, stir, then on MEDIUM (50% power) 18 minutes or until rice is tender. Let stand 5 minutes and fluff.
- CAUTION: Bowl and contents will be very hot. Use pot holders when removing from microwave.
Contains enriched rice, kidney beans, garlic and soy sauce. Serve as a side or add meat to make a complete meal.
