Thawing & Cooking
Keep product frozen until ready to use. Slowly defrost in the refrigerator for approximately 3½ days prior to cooking. Quick thaw: leave wrapper on and place in cold water for 6–8 hours. Remove plastic bag and place completely thawed bird, breast side up or string side down, in a greased roasting pan. Tent loosely with aluminum foil; preheat oven to 350°F and bake about 3½–4 hours or until skin is golden brown, basting occasionally. Let rest 45 minutes to 1 hour before carving.
