Thawing & Storage
Thaw 24–48 hours in refrigerator for best results. For rapid thaw, place in a clean trash can liner and submerge in cool water for 6–9 hours.
Cooking Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Remove from bag.
- Brown roll prior to baking to help retain moisture (optional).
- Place skin side down in pan with 3/4–1 cup water, cover with foil. Bake 1 hr 45 min, then remove foil and bake uncovered 15 min. Baste as needed. Internal temperature should reach 165°F.
- Optional: cook in a browning bag for a juicier result.
Slicing
Allow to cool 20 minutes to seal in juices, remove netting, then slice.
