Cooking Directions
- Measure 2 cups water and bring to a boil; add 1 tablespoon butter or margarine and 1 teaspoon salt, if desired.
- Stir in 1 cup rice and return to a boil.
- Cover, lower heat and simmer 20 minutes or until rice is tender and water is absorbed.
