Oak Grove Smokehouse Cajun Dirty Rice Mix comes in five 7.9 oz packages and reproduces the traditional Southwestern Louisiana rice dressing known as dirty rice. The mix is similar to jambalaya and is commonly prepared with a combination of ground meats such as beef, pork and/or giblets.

Basic Preparation
- Brown 1/2 lb ground beef or pork and 1/2 lb chopped giblets; drain excess grease.
- Combine meat, 1 (7.9 oz) package Dirty Rice Mix and 2 1/2 cups water in a 2-qt saucepan. Cover, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer without stirring 20–25 minutes or until rice is tender.
Uses
Serve with roast meat or fowl, barbecue, or fried chicken. The mix may also be used as stuffing for turkey, chicken, pork chops, eggplant, peppers or other vegetables and adapted with additions like oysters or mushrooms.
