Wife put this in our monthly red beans and rice, and it was phenomenal. We didn't fry much of it, but would recommend frying it to really bring out the flavor.

I've been losing my suitcase with this brand of tasso on trips to Louisiana and now I don't have to. Makes a great addition to beans and rice

It is impossible to obtain authentic Tasso where I live. This is the real thing. It adds much to my cooking.
