Thawing and Cooking Instructions for the Perfect Turducken
Ingredients include turkey, water, rice, crawfish tail meat, duck breast meat, chicken meat, and a blend of seasonings and vegetables. ALLERGENS: SHELLFISH, MILK, SOYBEAN, WHEAT
For best results, remove the Turducken from its box, keep it in its vacuum-sealed bag, and thaw in the refrigerator for 48-72 hours. Alternatively, a cold water bath for 8-10 hours can be used for quicker defrosting.
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Remove Turducken from packaging and place it breast side up on a greased roasting pan rack.
- Cover the bird loosely with aluminum foil and bake for 2 hours.
- Uncover and bake for an additional 1.5 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Optional: Baste with butter during the last hour of cooking.
- Once done, let it rest for 45 minutes before serving.
